Fort Wayne Mayor, Tom Henry Will Join The R. N. Snider High School Chapter For First Ever Fort Wayne GlamourGals Mega Makeover At Heritage Park


Fort Wayne, IN (April 30, 2012) – The R. N. Snider High School Chapter of GlamourGals Foundation will hold the organization’s first makeover at Heritage Park at 2001 Hobson Rd. Fort Wayne, IN 46805 on Saturday, May 5th from 9-11 a.m.

Mayor Tom Henry, will join GlamourGals’ teen volunteers, along with GlamourGals staff and Warsaw Girl Scout Troop 10095, as they offer facials, makeovers, manicures, and companionship to Heritage park residents. Mayor Henry will be reading a proclamation honoring R. N. Snider High School for their service.

The chapter’s Advisor and founder, Jordan Bentley shared her excitement about the forthcoming makeover.

“I started this GlamourGals Chapter with Snider because I wish I would have been presented with opportunities like this to give back to my community as a high school student” said Bentley. “The women at Heritage Park have become very special to not only myself, but the volunteers. We look forward to seeing them every month just as much as they look forward to seeing us.”

The R. N. Snider Chapter is elated to celebrate their volunteerism and to be assisted by a local Girl Scout troop to help mentor younger girls in the community as well as give back to the women at Heritage Park.
