Amanda Bassen

I joined GlamourGals because of my lifelong passion around helping the elderly population.  I witnessed firsthand how the elderly can become such a forgotten part of society, particularly while in assisted living or nursing home facilities.  Their physical, mental, and emotional health and well-being should be prioritized the same, if not more, than every other member of society.  We cannot abandon people when they need us the most. 

GlamourGals does such important work helping to combat elder isolation.  I love how makeup is used as a medium for dialogue and personal connections.  Especially now, with limited visitation due to Covid, GlamourGals' mission is more important than ever.  The #MyDearFriend campaign has truly been inspiring.  GlamourGals is an organization I am proud to be part of!
