Spreading Joy with GG Makeovers

Keionnah B., President of the TWYLS chapter, shares how she finds happiness in doing good for others at GG makeovers.

In the TYWLS Glamour Gals club, we visited a senior home nearby to do the residents’ makeup and help them all feel beautiful. It was Valentine's Day so the seniors were having a party, and we were thrilled to join in on the celebration! We really enjoyed spending time with all of the lovely ladies who chatted with us while we did their makeup and nails. They shared stories about their lives and talked about their families. I particularly loved this experience because I aspire to become a makeup artist. Helping people feel good about themselves is what I always strive for, and this experience was a great opportunity to do just that. It's a wonderful feeling when you can make someone else feel good, which, in turn, makes you feel good.
