OUR MISSION
Keeping seniors feeling loved is at the heart of what we do.
The pandemic paused our signature programming of manicures and makeovers. With a quick pivot, we launched My Dear Friend to write cards to our senior friends. This campaign captures the thoughtful intention of the GlamourGals experience through hand-written cards. In just over three years, we’ve brightened the lives of seniors around the country with 100,000 cards.

How did My Dear Friend start?
During the pandemic, we preserved the critical interactions between seniors and GlamourGals with safe and distanced programs, including My Dear Friend kind card writing.
How do I participate?
Sign up to receive an email with card-writing tips and resources to get started.
Who can participate?
Anyone!
How do I know where to send my cards?
You’ll share the number of cards you wrote here, and we’ll email you a senior home address and mailing instructions within 2 business days.
How many cards can I write?
As many as you can! Our goal is at least 30,000 notes written and sent this holiday season. Get started.
How many times can I request a senior home address?
As many times as you like! Each time you report the number of completed cards, we will match you with a senior home and email you the mailing address.
Can I recommend a senior home to receive cards?
Yes! Ask the senior home to fill out this form to request notes.
Can I get a card back?
This program is designed so that notes can be easily distributed and read by any senior, possibly alone. In the current crisis, personal responses are not possible.
If I write more cards after I receive a senior home address, can I continue to send my cards there?
No. If you write more cards, please request a new address. We have many other senior homes that are looking forward to receiving your cards!
When is the last day I can request a senior home address?
Friday, December 15th.

How do I get those beautiful, festive cards?
We teamed up with artist Laura Babcock to create seasonal, non-denominational designs. You can download them or request a card-writing kit.
How is Massage Envy supporting GlamourGals?
Massage Envy will donate $1 to GlamourGals for every My Dear Friend card sent to a senior by December 15, 2023, up to $15,000. In addition, staff at Massage Envy’s franchise support center in Scottsdale, AZ will be writing letters. Massage Envy and GlamourGals are separate, unaffiliated companies, and Massage Envy is not otherwise involved in the My Dear Friend campaign or GlamourGals.
