The GlamourGals Leadership Training Institute is a day-long conference for GlamourGals volunteers featuring an inspiring kick off speaker, a dynamic panel discussion, interactive workshops, and networking opportunities.
We are looking for volunteer event staff, as well as team leaders.
Event staff will help with registration, help with the "behind the scenes" program needs, set up, clean up, meal breaks, and gift bag distribution. A brief event overview and training will be provided via phone and email. Event staff work in two shifts, 8:00am - 11:30pm, and 11:30am - 3:00pm, but you are welcome to stay all day if you like!
Team Leaders are responsible for managing a group of 10 high school students throughout the day. Team leaders facilitate workshops, engage students, and serve as mentors and role models throughout the day. Team leaders must stay for the entire duration of the day, and attend a prior training (in person at our team leader dinner, or by phone). Team Leaders must be available to stay for the entire event, from 8:00am - 3:00pm.
