Meet Your Stylist:
Carmen Lilly is a closet therapist and wardrobe consultant based in New York City. Her portfolio ranges from closet design, personal styling, red carpet, and on-air talent. Her work has been featured on national television shows such as BET’s “106 and Park” and CBS’s “Entertainment Tonight” as well as major red carpets including the Academy Awards.
With over 10 years of industry experience and a keen sense for forecasting trends, Carmen used this knowledge to launch her company Stylistic. Stylistic was born out of her need to service client’s desire to cut through the “fashion noise” and find their personal style.
Meet your Guru:
Rana Ghaoui is a Certified Holistic Health Coach, Yoga and Arthritis Exercise Instructor. Rana completed her 200 hour yoga teacher training at Maha Padma Yoga Temple in November 2013. She brings a kind, light-hearted spirit to create a safe and friendly place for students to move with mindfulness, access their own inner strength and discover how yoga and meditation can transform and enrich their lives.
Meet your Panelists:
Amanda Bassen is an Associate Attorney at Duane Morris LLP. She works in the trial practice group specializing in white-collar criminal defense.
Amanda received her J.D. from the Cardozo school of law, and her B.S from Cornell University.
Erica Healey-Kagan is Senior Counsel at The Kurland Group, a boutique civil rights law firm in Manhattan, working on a wide range of issues including LGBTQ matters, women’s rights, equal pay and discrimination, housing, healthcare, immigration, family and employment law. Erica received her B.S. from Cornell University in 2005 and her J.D. from Brooklyn Law School in 2008.
Josh Wise is an HR Business Partner at Jet.com. He has over 8 years in program management and developing talent programs. He also serves on the GlamourGals board of directors.
Josh graduated from Temple University's Fox School of Business and Management.
Michelle Lin is the Vice President of Marketing and eCommerce at Bastide, a French natural beauty company founded by Frédéric Fekkai. She studied Finance and English Literature at The University of Texas at Austin and received her MBA from Duke University, where she studied in London, India, Dubai, Russia, and China.
Meet your Moderator:
Lesley Abrams is a category specialist for Jet.com, where she specializes in website merchandising, buying, content management, digital strategy, customer analytics, and more. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from West Chester University of Pennsylvania with a B.A. in Communications in 2013. Lesley has been working with GlamourGals Foundation for a few months now and is excited to be part of this event!
