Bronx, NY(September 4, 2012) – SoapBox Soaps is honoringseniors inthe Bronx by sponsoring a GlamourGals makeover on the eve of Grandparent’s Day on Saturday, September 8, 2012 at Workmen’s Circle MultiCare Center at 2:00pm.
GlamourGals volunteers from the Lehman High School Chapter will be accompanied by GG Alumni and together will provide residents at Workmen’s Circle MultiCare Centera renewed sense of beauty and dignity using SoapBox Soaps products.
Stephanie Appiah, Director of Development for SoapBox Soaps shared the company’s commitment to community projects and social good. "SoapBox Soaps is a social mission company committed to changing the world through the purchase of a bar of soap. For every bar we sell, we donate a bar to a person in need anywhere in the world.”
Appiah continued with the significance of sponsoring a GlamourGals makeover. “We're excited to work with Glamour Gals because it allows us to directly impact the lives of people in the United States, making women feel beautiful and confident, one makeover at a time.
This is the GlamourGals inaugural makeover at the Workmen’s Circle MultiCare Center and will feature community leaders and Executives from SoapBox Soaps.
GlamourGals is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit that has inspired and organized teens to provide ongoing companionship and complimentary beauty makeovers to women living in senior homes since 2000. GlamourGals67Chapters across thecountry that engages over1,400 teen volunteers to serve more than 2,000 senior women in 14 States.
