NEW YORK, NY (January 11, 2012)—GlamourGals founder and president, Rachel Doyle, is a semifinalist in Glamour Magazine and Sally Hansen’s Best of You Contest.
Rachel is one of ten semifinalists, nominated by Glamour Magazine readers. Voting is open to the public from now until February 13th. Voters need only vote one time and by voting, also enter themselves to win goodies from Sally Hansen and Glamour.
Rachel was nominated by GlamourGals supporter, Stephanie Mattera, who says,
“Rachel Doyle immediately came to mind when I read about Sally Hansen’s Best of You contest, which recognizes women that are impacting their communities through volunteerism and service. Rachel is one of the most passionate people I know, she’s an innovator, and is incredibly gifted at motivating others to action. Her work as the founder and president of GlamourGals is a testimony to her commitment to enriching the lives of seniors and cultivating young women to be compassionate leaders. As a GlamourGals volunteer, I have seen first-hand the impact Rachel is making in their lives and the transformative power of a makeover. Both the seniors and the young women leave changed by the intimate moments and stories that are shared. As the GlamourGals mantra states, “manicures and makeovers are just half the story.”
