GlamourGals’ recent expansion to the Bronx rounds out its presence in all five boroughs, signifying the organization’s accelerated expansion in the New York tri-state area.

Assemblywoman, Naomi Rivera, will join GlamourGals’ teen volunteers, along with GlamourGals staff, as they offer facials, makeovers, manicures, and companionship to East Haven residents.

The Assemblywoman shared her excitement about the forthcoming makeover and her admiration of the GlamourGals program.

"I'm pleased to welcome the GlamourGals organization to the Bronx for its first-ever makeover event here.  Glamour knows no age limit in the Bronx, so it's fitting that GlamourGals has arrived to link the generations” said Assemblywoman Rivera.   “This innovative organization empowers young women to become engaged in their community by providing companionship and a fun, memorable beauty experience for our senior ladies.  I’d like to thank and commend the Lehman High School students who are taking part in the makeover at the East Haven Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. I’m sure they’ll find that they receive tenfold the kindness that they're giving.”

The Herbert Lehman High School Chapter is elated to be the inaugural chapter in the borough and looks forward to giving back to their community in a unique and meaningful way.
