Mayor Jerramiah T.Healy, Assemblyman Sean Connors, and Councilman-At-Large, Rolando Lavarro Will Attend GlamourGals First Makeover in Jersey City

Friday, January 13, 1:00pm, GrandviewTerrace (3060 Kennedy Blvd, Jersey City, NJ 07306).

JerseyCity, NJ (January 10, 2012) – The Golden Door Charter School Chapter of GlamourGals Foundation will hold the organization's first makeover in JerseyCity on Friday, January 13th at Grandview Terrace at 1:00pm.

Mayor Jerramiah T. Healy of Jersey City will join GlamourGals' teen volunteers, along with GlamourGals staff, as they offer facials, makeovers, manicures, and companionship to Grandview Terrace residents.

"This is an event that will brighten up the day for many of our senior citizens, and we are pleased that GlamourGals has chosen Jersey City as a location for this project," said Mayor Healy. "It is also wonderful to see our youth participating in a positive activity that helps improve the lives of our seniors" said Mayor Healy about the intergenerational program.

The Golden Door Charter School Chapter is elated to host Mayor Healy ,Assemblymen Connors and Councilman- At-Large Rolando Lavarro as well as to giveback to their community in a unique and meaningful way.
