Chicago, IL (August 2, 2012) – Students from the Chicago Technical Academy will be joined by volunteers from the Chinese American Service League (CASL) as they host GlamourGals’ inaugural makeover in Chicago at The Adult Day Services Program at CASL in Chicago, IL on Monday, August 13th, at 9:45am.

GlamourGals’ accelerated growth in the Midwest demonstrates the growing need for the program.  Prior to the scheduled makeover, supporters across the country donated through GlamourGals Groupon Grassroots campaign to raise nearly $1,000 to support the organization’s expansion efforts.

Activities Coordinator of CASL, Bianca Lee shared her enthusiasm about the historic makeover in Chicago.  “We are thrilled to have GlamourGals' volunteers to come and interact with our female clients in such an intimate setting. Through this cooperation, we hope not only our female clients, but the volunteers will benefit from this experience.”

GlamourGals is grateful to have the support of Adrianne Courtney, Marketing Manager of Brightstar, Sara Terry, Vice President of Optimum Life, Brookdale Senior Living, and Executive Board Member for GlamourGals, and Kyle Klatt, Groupon’s G-Team’s Manager of Development for joining the volunteers from Chicago Technical Academy and CASL for participating in this makeover as they offer facials, makeovers, manicures, and companionship to CASL residents. The makeover will be captured by photographer Larry Burrows.
