GlamourGals Foundation Hosts 10th Annual Glammy Scholarship Awards in NYC
Host Julie Alexandria of OK! TV, along with Hot Pink Correspondents Allegra Cohen and Lynesse Rawlins and Inspiration Glammy Award Winner Monique Coleman, will be joining the GlamourGals Foundation, Inc. on the hot pink carpet at the 10th Annual Glammy Scholarship Awards for a day of glamour, glitz and gratitude. The Glammy Scholarship Awards is our way of honoring, rewarding and celebrating it’s high school volunteers for their outstanding commitment to the mission of combating elder loneliness in senior homes through ongoing companionship and complimentary beauty makeovers. Four graduating volunteers will be awarded a $1000 scholarship for their exemplary service and their selflessness in providing color, compassion and conversation to a forgotten population.
The Glammy Scholarship Awards, held in NYC yearly, attracts hundreds of individuals who are committed to supporting to GlamourGals’ mission and program. This year, guests will have the opportunity to enjoy mocktails, delicious treats by The Well Seasoned Chef, mini-makeovers by Manna Kadar Cosmetics, nail art by Vanity Projects NYC, a photo booth sponsored by Candie’s and more!
Guests will also have the chance to meet this year’s Inspiration Glammy Award winner Monique Coleman, the philanthropist behind GimmeMo.com, Champion for the UN Foundation’s Girl Up Campaign, and actress in the tremendously successful High School Musical franchise and the highly anticipated film, Naomi & Ely’s No Kiss List.

GlamourGals is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit that has inspired and organized teens to provide ongoing companionship and complimentary beauty makeovers to women living in senior homes since 2000. GlamourGals 68 Chapters across the country that engages over 1,400 teen volunteers to serve more than 2,000 senior women in 14 States.
