America's elderly population will reach 72 million in the next 25 years. Currently 50% of seniors residing in senior homes do not have any close relatives to visit them. 70% of these residents are women, of which 66% are widowed and 46% have no living children. Our volunteers help break this isolation. Tammy, a GG volunteer shares: "As a volunteer for 6 years now, GlamourGals has played a huge part in my life growing up. My experiences have helped me to embrace and stand for being a compassionate, powerful and inspiring woman and the elderly women I have met through Glamour Gals have taught me to thank, respect and love the women in my life who have touched and inspired my life in any way."
