In the two and a half months that I was an Event Correspondent at GlamourGals, I learned skills in communication, marketing, and event planning, I did not sit on the sidelines and watch things get done. On the contrary, I was an essential part of making events such as Glamour in the City possible, so that the elderly in senior homes could receive love and care from the teens we support. Witnessing the sheer joy on the elderly's faces from interacting with our teen volunteers at makeovers made GlamourGals' cause ever more meaningful and dear to my heart. My experience at GlamourGals is one that I will cherish for a long time to come.

"I have grown immensely both personally and professionally in the course of my summer with GlamourGals. I have developed a passion for the mission and I know that this will not be the end of my relationship with GG. This summer, I was able to accomplish more than I ever imagined and the internship has exceeded my expectations. I really enjoyed working with the GG team and I can say that I definitely learned something new every single day. Though I learned a lot this summer, I also had a great deal of fun. I really enjoyed coming to work every day!"

"I have been with the GlamourGals Foundation since my sophomore year of high school and this summer as a GlamourGals intern goes down as one of my most memorable experiences. The experience challenged me and equipped me with skills I can take with me afterwards. I enjoyed working interdependently with a team of compassionate and forward thinking individuals dedicated to the mission of GlamourGals. I am truly honored to have had such an incredible experience with incredible people!" -Eghosa A., Program Development Correspondent, Summer 2012
