GlamourGals Foundation- May 4, 2010-GlamourGals is proud to announce that they will be holding the 6th Annual Glammy Awards on Saturday, May 15th from 6-8 p.m. at the Helen Mills Theater in Manhattan.

For the 6th year, parents, volunteers, advisors and special guests are invited to walk the hot pink carpet to honor and recognize the hard work and dedication of our volunteers. The hot pink carpet will be hosted by 2009's Miss New York International, Stephanie Mattera and the awards ceremony will be hosted by MTV's, Diem Brown. The Glammy Awards are sponsored by Exuberance and Hint Water. The Glammys will be photographed by Elizabeth Sarah.

"The Glammy Awards are a great way to show our amazing volunteers how inspiring and truly wonderful they are. This is their opportunity to feel beautiful and special—a gift they continuously give to elderly women in their communities," says Julia Porter, Director of Programs.

The 2010 Glammy Finalists are Nicole Galletta from Ardsley, NY, Tammy Tran from Queens, NY, and Charlotte Keating of St. Andrews, Scotland. The winner will be announced at the event.

GlamourGals a Pine-Sol Make A Powerful Difference Finalist
We are thrilled to announce that GlamourGals founder, Rachel Doyle, is a finalist in the Pine-Sol®'s Make a Powerful Difference™ Contest!  Rachel is being recognized for making a powerful difference in her community, and has been chosen as one of only 10 finalists among thousands of submissions nationwide. Rachel Doyle has been entered in the contest to win either $1,000 Prize OR a $10,000 Grand Prize, which will enable her to continue making a powerful difference in her community.
