GG Welcomes Nadine Loren to the Board!
GG welcomes another new member to the GG advisory board, long time supporter, Nadine Loren. "I met Rachel one night and heard about what she was doing, and was immediately drawn in by her passion to make people happy. It was especially remarkable to me that she had achieved so much at such a young age - she was living proof that you can do anything you want to do if you set your mind to it!" says Nadine of how she became inspired to get involved with GG.
In short, Nadine is a Swiss Born NZ Singer/Songwriter who refuses to be put in a box! Her music combines various genres, including folk, electronic, pop and rock music, while featuring English, French & Italian lyrics. Her debut album Living in Wonderland was nominated for Best Pop Album of the Year by the LA Music Awards (2009). Her music can also be heard on various compilations including Bad Girls Don't Cry, which also features other top female artists like Duffy and Amy Winehouse, as well as the Equinox Spring Fling compilation.
Nadine's favorite aspect of GG? "The fact that you are creating immediate happiness in a community that really deserves it (but is unfortunately often forgotten about). I also love the fact that GG creates so many leaders and nurtures so many great role models for young girls growing up - both through the elders they are working with and their peers with whom they are working alongside... I have never met so many well spoken, well "put-together", admirable young women as I have seen at GG!"
