On Saturday, May 15th, the hot pink carpet will be rolled out and GlamourGals' finest volunteers will hit the streets of Manhattan!
For the 6th year, parents, vounteers, advisors and special guests are invited to honor and recognize the hardwork and dedication of our volunteers. This year's Glammy Awards will take place at Helen Mills Theater in Manhattan. A special presentation is made to recognize extraordinary volunteer efforts with a Glammy Award and everyone leaves with a gift bag (if you have been to our events before YOU KNOW they are awesome!). Guests have the opportunity to take part in our interactive backstage, beauty lounge, mingle with special guests including GG's Leadership Circle's Lynn Calpeter, CFO of NBC Universal.
This year, an exemplary volunteer and an inspirational winner will be rewarded. Past winners include Project Runway's Tim Gunn, Hairspray's, Nikki Blonsky, and Hearst's Lauren Ruotolo and Susan Schulz.
Guests will be interviewed on the hot pink carpet by Miss New York International 2009, Stephanie Mattera and photographed by Elizabeth Sarah. The evening will be hosted by MTV's Diem Brown and there will be a musical performance by Nadine Loren.
