GG Welcomes Ashlee!
Ashlee Firsten is the Co-Founder of Aromachology Custom Fragrances, a novel fragrance brand that is meant to engage, entice and excite consumers by allowing them to be the creative director. After completing her degree in Chemical Engineering and working at Estee Lauder in QA and Operations, she decided to go back to school to get her head wrapped around the business side of things and completed her MBA in France. Only months after returning home, Ashlee and Kirsten Menkes were on the road to bringing Aromachology to the world.Ashlee became involved with GG after hearing about the organization from board member, Lisa Zhang in line at Henri Bendels!
"Once I spoke with Rachel I knew it was. Rachel and I clicked and at heart I have always felt very strongly about empowering young women and giving back to your community - both which GG holds to heart," she says.
Ashlee has always been active in groups that empower women, whether WIE (Women in Engineering) or speaking to young girls at summer camps, she thrives off of setting an example and letting girls now how far they can go.
"There is no question, I love the thought that these young girls have true ownership over their chapters and activities - they are able to give back and don't even realize that they are becoming leaders at the same time. They are able to learn invaluable lessons of leadership and organization that will empower them throughout the paths of their lives," says Ashlee of GG's programming.
