Alumni Council Member, Kira West
GlamourGals is proud to welcome Kira West to the Alumni Council.
Currently a sophomore at Cornell University, Kira spent her summer as a GG Correspondent for GlamourGals, where she also attended her first GG makeover.
"This was not only an awesome experience because I got to interact with the elderly, but it was amazing because the other GG volunteers made me feel at home. They walked me through the steps of the manicures and facials and were caring and patient. It was really great to see the GG mission at work," says Kira.
Through her GlamourGals experiences, Kira has learned that GG is unique and necessary.
"I have really grown to identify and be passionate about the mission, especially since my great-grandmother could be living in a senior home soon," notes Kira. "Now that I'm involved [with GG] I can't imagine walking away from the organization. GlamourGals is doing amazing things and I'm honored to be a part of it."
