Indianapolis, IN (June 22, 2012) – GlamourGals is proud to announce that they will hosting a Mega Makeover with the residents of Brookdale Senior Living's Robin Run Village on Friday, June 29, at 11:00 a.m. Mega Makeovers are designed to spread awareness about the GlamourGals mission and to engage non-traditional volunteers in the community.

Over coats of nail polish and the application of makeup, participants will engage in conversations with the residents of the senior home, foster new relationships and bridge the intergenerational gap between the elderly and youth.

“There is a kind of sisterly bonding that elderly women and younger women have when they get together. GlamourGals embraces that while providing a service that makes everyone involved smile,” says Indianapolis adult volunteer, Kati Britt.

GlamourGals has been hosting Mega Makeovers at Robin Run for nearly three years and we look forward to participating in this event. Indianapolis community members interested in attending should contact Julia Porter at julia (@) glamourgals.org.
