What does Jessica like best about GG?
"I love the stories the members share of interacting with the elderly women and how they change each others' lives. A simple touch, companionship or sharing about someone's family is so important for older women. We can learn so much from these women who have seen many things happen and have often made sacrifices to ensure the opportunities we now have as women in the world. A young girl now has the opportunity to vote, work in any field she wants, be the CEO of pretty much any kind of organization because of the women that paved the way for us. I appreciate that elderly women all over the country have opportunities to share their stories with teens who care about them.I also love that Glamour Gals provides opportunities for girls to organize and lead each other. When I was in high school, I was one of a few students chosen for a leadership organization and it put me on the road to success. I learned a lot and always had mentors giving me advice and opening doors for me. I feel this is one of the most important aspects of GlamourGals and am proud that we are helping these young women envision their futures."
Thanks to Jessica for her support and dedication to GG!
