GlamourGals is proud to welcome Jennifer Neumann to the Advisory Board. After graduating high school a year early, at 17 years old, Jennifer began studying criminal justice at SUNY Farmingdale. Following two years, and a transfer to SUNY New Paltz, she changed her major to Sociology, but decided to chase her dreams of becoming an actress. This decision gave Jennifer the option to try out many different careers, but she ended up spending the better part of her life in the restaurant business.
As luck would have it, she began working in food and beverage with Willow Hotel Group eight years ago, and when offered an opportunity to further her career in the hospitality industry, she grabbed it. Currently, Jennifer is the Corporate Director of Beverage & Entertainment.
Jennifer supported GlamourGals at Illuminate 2012 and has contributed further to support The Glammy Scholarship Awards. Through her support of Illuminate, Jennifer learned more about GlamourGals' mission and decided to join the Advisory Board.
"My favorite part of the GlamourGals mission is that not only does the organization provide a much needed service for women of two different generations by bridging a gap, but it provides a focus on feeling beautiful," Jennifer says.
"I am sure that most woman can relate to a time in their lives when they did not feel their best, and whether it was getting a manicure, facial or just applying some make up, it made a difference in how they felt about themselves. It is not about what is on the outside, but feeling beautiful on the inside. Sometimes spending time on yourself, and paying attention to the outside, makes you feel beautiful on the inside. Every woman deserves that no matter how young or old."
Furthermore, Jennifer believes that others should get involved with GG to help make a difference in the lives of teens and seniors. "Teens learn about growing older, being compassionate, touching someone instead of texting them, and seniors learn how to feel youthful again. Giving back is important no matter how you chose to do it, but I was touched by the opportunity to focus on strong women of many ages coming together, and motivating each other to feel beautiful."
GlamourGals is grateful to all of Jennifer's support. For more information on the GlamourGals Advisory Board, click here
