2010 Glammy Host Diem Brown!
For the 6th year, parents, vounteers, advisors, and special guests are invited to walk the hot pink carpet to honor and recognize the hardwork and dedication of our volunteers. A special presentation is made to recognize extraordinary volunteer efforts with a Glammy Award. Raised in Roswell, GA, Diem wanted to be a reporter. After becoming a reporter in Los Angeles for the Associated Press, Diem tried out for MTV's Real world and became a cast member for MTV's Fresh Meat Challenge. A survivor of Ovarian cancer, Diem is a true inspiration. She also founded LIVE for the challenge, a website to help people suffering with various illnesses achieve their dreams.
Why does Diem like GlamourGals' mission? "As little girls we try and emulate our grandmothers, by sneaking through their vanity for lipstick and rouge.
Now as women thank your grandmothers for their "blind-eye" beauty lessons and remind them how great a makeover feels," she notes.
