Illuminate Host, Allegra Cohen

GlamourGals is proud to announce that Allegra Cohen will be a host at this Thursday's, #Illuminate2012. Allegra has worked as a producer in all areas of entertainment: web, television, theater and film.
She co-produced Best Comedy Winner at the New York Television Festival, Split the Difference, later bought by NBC.
Allegra followed with The Crawl, which was sold to Spike TV and evolved into Spike’s Weekend Pre-Game. She produced the web series, From Down Here, starring Lynn Cohen, and directed by Troy Hall. The series chronicles a little person, Stephen Jutras, looking for love in NYC.

Allegra acts as Production Supervisor for Ten/Four Pictures, who most recently produced the feature film, Lucky, directed by Gil Cates Jr., starring Colin Hanks, Ari Graynor, and Ann-Margret. Following the distribution with Phase 4 films, Lucky has been released this summer in theaters and is now available on dvd at major retailers and will be on major cable networks early 2012.

A new addition to the GlamourGals Advisory board, Allegra is looking forward to Illuminate because "it will be a fun way to connect with our guests and show them the importance of GlamourGals in today's society".

Like many GlamourGals supporters, Allegra connected to the mission because of her own personal relationship with her grandmother and notes, "My inspiration in supporting GlamourGals comes from my gratitude for the strong, beautiful, inspiring women who paved the way for our futures".
