GG Welcomes Andrea!
Andrea joined the beauty department at Cosmopolitan magazine in 2001, the world's largest women's magazine with a readership of 3.1 million women. She then became the Content Editor for Cosmo Radio on Sirius XM where she co-hosted a weekly show covering beauty, fashion, and lifestyle topics.
Currently as the Senior Beauty Editor for RealBeauty.com, Andrea reports on the latest trends and products, in addition to offering expert tips on everything from mastering the perfect at-home blowout to creating a believable faux glow.
As a participant in November's Beauty Blogger luncheon at the GlamourGals Leadership Training Insitute, Andrea was inspired. "After being in the room for just a few minutes and seeing all these amazing, energetic young women decked out in hot pink, I knew GlamourGals was a special organization and I immediately told Susan [Schulz, chairwoman of the GG advisory board] that I would love to become more involved."
Andrea's favorite aspect of the GG program is the outreach to elderly women.
"I was extremely close to both of my grandmothers and feel that all women, young and old, can benefit from this type of intergenerational relationship," she says.
