GG Welcomes Lauren Ruotolo to the board!
GlamourGals would like to extend a warm welcome to new board member, Lauren Ruotolo. Lauren is the Director of Entertainment Promotions at Hearst Magazines, where she is responsible and focuses on developing strategic key partnerships with TV & cable networks, music labels and movie studios. She recently helped produce E!'s Style Network largest budget in Style's history for a show about the inner workings at Marie Claire fashion magazine.
Lauren became involved with GlamourGals in 2009. "After my article was published in Marie Claire last year Rachel [Doyle, Founder and President of GlamourGals] read it and contacted me and I have been involved for about a year now." Rachel was so impressed that she awarded Lauren the Inspiration Glammy, which she accepted at the Haute Pink Luncheon in May. Additionally Lauren attended the 2009 Glamour in the City event and was the key note of the 2009 GlamourGals Leadership Training Institute.
"My favorite aspect of the program is to watch the younger generation inspire our elders through beauty and companionship," says Lauren of GG.
Lauren holds a BA in marketing and communication from Hofstra University and resides in New York City. Lauren's first book will be published in the fall of 2010.
