October: Fashion Show by Nafeeza
Hey Guys, yesterday a couple members from our chapter visited the nursing home because they were having a Diwali show. It was a great visit because we had the oppuritunity to share our culture with the senior citizens. They were so open to learning and they made us feel so comfortable sharing. I myself learned a few things when I went to my friend, Branavi's home. Her mom was so kind and she made traditional Sri Lankan food for us. Having a open mind to new culture is always a good thing as well as sharing with others.
