GG Welcomes Alexandra!
Alexandra Eaton, currently a tax associate for PwC in Manhattan started her GG journey as a high school student."I was a Junior and a current Senior started the program. My mom was a teacher at my high school, saw the flyer in the hallway, and told me: 'Alex, I think this is a great program that you would really enjoy!' I went to the first meeting and have been hooked ever since!"
After graduating from Townsend Harris High School, Alexandra started a chapter at her college, the University of Albany. Today, this chapter boasts nearly 60 volunteers and Alexandra still supports them and Townsend Harris who has just started up their chapter again this month.
Through all of her years as a volunteer, Alexandra enjoyed the makeover experience the most. "The excited and anxious women waiting our arrival, the smiles throughout the make-overs, and the appreciative "thank you's" after are what we all do this for! It is the most amazing experience and feeling!"
