MARS Advertising Inc. Sponsors GlamourGals Makeover at VISIONSVCB

Company Employees Work Side by Side with GlamourGals Volunteers to Give Back to

Elderly Population

NEW YORK, New York (July 22, 2013) — MARS Advertising Inc is sponsoring a GlamourGals Mega Makeover on Friday, July 26th 2013 from 3pm to 4pm at VISIONS/Services for the Visually Blind and Impaired on West 23rd Street. Mega Makeovers are held in the afternoon, and employees participate in a constructive and meaningful volunteer experience at a senior home in New York City.

MARS Advertising Inc is an international shopper marketing agency with over 40 years of experience and a proven track record of profoundly impacting the growth of brands through bold thinking, big ideas and actions that drive sustainable, profitable growth for clients. Working side by side with GlamourGals teen volunteers from the Hunter College Chapter, employees will engage in GlamourGals’ mission of providing companionship and complimentary beauty makeovers to elderly women living in senior homes. This is an opportunity for employees to spearhead community development by inspiring the volunteers, while giving service to an older

generation.

"The team at MARS is very excited to work with GlamourGals as part of our Start Small Initiative," said Rob Rivenburgh, COO at MARS Advertising. “Having the opportunity to make a real impact by volunteering our time in communities where we work, is an honor. The service and compassion GlamourGals provide on a daily basis is truly inspiring and our team is looking forward to joining their volunteers on July 26 for MARS' Global Citizenship Day.” “GlamourGals is honored and excited to have MARS participating in the Mega Makeover,” said Rachel Doyle, President and Founder of GlamourGals. “Their participation is an opportunity for GlamourGals to spread awareness about the Hot Pink Leadership Program, which inspires and organizes teens to become leaders in their communities by giving complimentary beauty makeovers to older women.”

The Mega Makeover will occur at VISIONSVCB/Services for the Blind and Visually Impaired. VISIONSVCB is a 501c3 nonprofit rehabilitation and social service agency that focuses on developing programs for and educating the public about the blind and visually impaired. When GlamourGals visits VISIONS, it truly shows that program is more than makeovers and manicures.
